Why This Program?

  1. Designed for Future Innovators
Tailored for children ages 5-10 who love working on hobbies and engagaging in hands on projects. This workshop series introduces them to core concepts in project start up, product creation, and enterprising thinking, setting the foundation for skills they’ll carry into the future.

  2. A Full-Week of Engaging, Educational Care
We know the challenge of balancing work and school holidays. This five-day program, from 9 am to 4 pm, allows you to focus on work while your child dives into a world of learning, discovery, and hands-on fun. Early drop-off is available, and we’re here to accommodate late pick-ups if needed.

  3. Expert Guidance in a Nurturing Setting
Led by experienced facilitators, Eric and Victoria, who specialise in youth innovation and early childhood education, the program offers a safe and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and seen.

  4. Small Group Setting for Personalised Learning
With a maximum of 15 children, we emphasise individualised attention, giving each child the chance to connect deeply with facilitators and peers, develop social skills, and build lasting friendships.

Meet the Facilitators!

This workshop series was developed by Little Go Getters and will be facilitated in collaboration with the Founder Eric.

As the founder of Little Go Getters and an Enterprising Behaviours Specialist, I help individuals and organisations specialising in youth, specifically the disadvantaged, develop enterprising behaviours, skills and entrepreneurship development programs. My passion is to help equip and foster an environment for individuals to reach their goals and how they define success.

My work within space includes working with international organisations and individuals. Little Go Getters demonstrates this co-creation and collaboration by partnering with local organisations and individuals to create localised and contextualised resources.

I am passionate about teaching children enterprising skills and behaviours because they are essential for future success. But they need to be explicitly taught, modelled and reinforced to children for them to stick. As a child, I was full of enterprising spirit and had so many creative ideas, but I was also lacking confidence and the skills to overcome self-doubt. This support I needed as a child inspired me to create my Children’s Business program and now I am so excited to partner with Little Go Getters on A Week to Make it Work. We will teach children practical steps to bring their ideas to life and the emotional skills essential to overcoming challenges along the way.

Program Highlights

Each day offers a unique theme designed to gradually build your child’s confidence, creativity, and project management skills, ending the week with a showcase presentation where they’ll share their accomplishments.

  • Day 1: Discovering Personal Interests
Children explore their passions, connect over shared interests, and brainstorm project ideas, fostering a sense of purpose from day one.

  • Day 2: My Mini Enterprise
We delve into basic project planning, teamwork, and the creative process, providing a foundation in entrepreneurial skills as they embark on building their own mini-enterprise.

  • Day 3: Making it Real
Your child will bring their project ideas to life with hands-on activities covering problem-solving, budgeting basics, and creative thinking.

  • Day 4: Refining and Testing
Learning the value of iteration, your child will practice self-assessment, feedback, and presentation skills, gaining confidence in public speaking and constructive criticism.

  • Day 5: Showcase and Reflection
The grand finale! Each child presents their project, celebrating their achievements and reflecting on their journey, leaving them with a solid understanding of their newly acquired skills and their broader applications.

Give your child a week that combines learning, creativity, and friendship in a safe, supportive environment. Enrol them in the A Week to Make it Work: Building Project Start Up Skills for Kids, where they’ll gain invaluable skills, make new friends, and come home inspired every day.
